The more you talk, the more I want this fragrance. 🎉 And you answered my question about what "chypre" is. It's all the perfumes in my top third of my organizer. They go with each other, but not with the others. They don't play well with the more modern fragrances. Lol. Definitely oldies.

I got into fragrance earlier this year and I’ve had such fun sampling Prin’s body of work even if my nose can’t really do it justice. I recently received a sample of Zoologist King Cobra by him and it really threw me. It’s decidedly unpretty, but still interesting. Maybe one for the Zoologist old-heads who lament them going mainstream

Got a few samples from C&S. Didn’t get Cuba but if you read the reviews it’s super polarizing. A lot of people say it smells like literally shit. One guy said both his female coworkers turned up their nose and told him so. He had to wash it off. I’ll probably be trying a few more but those reviews aren’t encouraging

I was just starting to explore niche perfumes when I came across Sombre. Let's just say the scent was ... unforgettable. I had to look it up online, which is how I found your UA-cam channel. By the way, your review of Sombre was dead on. A sales rep there politely asked not to spray it more than once and even they'd sold two bottles. My son on the other hand, begged me for months to get a sample. Apparently, he wanted to prank his classmates with it.

i don't think it's possible to know the concentration of a fragrance only looking at the volume of alcohol, since, for example, the packaging may say 80% volume of pure alcohol, and 20% of other things, those other things include not only frangrance(parfum) but water(aqua) as well, and because they do not disclose the percentage of water, that makes it impossible to know the concentration of fragrance.

Hi nice to c u again - I'm a big fan of your videos. I was wondering if u could tell me what u think about Lush's Vanillary. Lord of Misrule is one of my absolute favourites I own - obsession of mine (even if I don't wear it have to come up to dresser just to open and sniff it). I heard they were both created by the same bloke and I adore vanilla but I'm a bit hesitant coz of the jasmine. I like it but only if it's not overwhelming the whole composition and I don't do well with indolic variety. I don't have a store nearby to try it and reluctant to blind buy in case it's just a jasmine bomb with a tiny bit of vanilla in the background rather than nice balance between the two :)
